Half Dome Hike: Yosemite NP

You hike up Nevada and Vernal Fall and just keep going..... You are passing little Yosemite valley, a backpacker camp. From there you have a lot of shade, because the trail is between a lot of trees. It goes up constantly, but not as steep as the last part of Vernal and Nevada Fall. I did not believe it until I saw it, but there was a ranger who was checking if you have a permit. After that it is still 1 mi to go. You see Half Dome coming closer the whole way. And then you are in front of the Sub Dome, it is like going up Nevada Fall again, in the sun. After that, I was just happy to finally see the cables. And I made it up there.
