Montana de Oro SP
We went to Montana de Oro State Park over Labor Day Weekend. The campground is away from the street, you just hear the waves from the ocean. The beach is in walking distance and there are a lot of hiking and mountain bike trails very close to the campground. Once arrived you don't need a car. If you arrive at night you get a campsite assigned, when you arrive during the day you can choose your site. Campsides are are good sized and very open, don't expect a lot of privacy. There are some large trees for some shade, however some sides have full sun all day. The streets are paved and kids can ride bikes and scooters. - Would I go there again? Yes.
