Red Cinder Cone Hike: Lassen NP
This was my first time on top of a volcano. You can hike all the way up to the top and look into the crater. It was exhausting, because you hike on volcano rocks, you can compare it with walking on a sandy beach. You are in the sun the whole time, but it is worth a trip to the top.
