Broke off Mountain Hike: Lassen NP
This hike was crazy, since I did not know what to expect and we had both kids with us. My husband chose and didn't tell me the part with the elevation. I think the older one was hiking for maybe the first half mile, the rest of this 7.4mi hike with 2600ft elevation gain, he had fun on my back, talking to me and sleeping in-between. I made it to the top and back, afterwards my husband believed me, that I am capable of hiking up Half Dome (we did one year later). Broke off Mountain is a trail with great views over Lassen and the Surroundings.
